Multimedia Installation - Troy Art Center - Spring 2001
This project is a video installation portraying the inner workings of my brain and the memories and thoughts contained within. The installation is inspired by the writings of William James, an American philosopher and psychologist at the turn of the 20th century. This is a mixed-media piece, containing video, still imagery, performance, and sound. My intent was to create a space where a viewer could be surrounded by various images, sounds, and happenings to attempt to interpret the apparent puzzle of my own mind and also create similar puzzles within their own minds using works of my own and a touch of philosophical thought shaping the piece.
